The Full Story

Music has been a part of Johnny Little’s life for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he was drawn to the soulful sounds of gospel hymns in church and the timeless tunes of 1950s Elvis Presley. By the age of three, Johnny was already singing, and it quickly became clear that music was not just a passion—it was his calling.

At 19, Johnny took a bold step toward his dreams, moving to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. He played for free at every hot spot he could find, soaking up the energy of Music City and building his craft. His dedication paid off when he recorded his first album, a milestone that marked the beginning of a lifelong journey in music.

Shortly after, life took Johnny in a new direction when he joined the military, eventually making Savannah, Georgia, his home for 26 years. Even during his military service, his love for music never faded. He auditioned for Nashville Star and made it to the final round, a testament to his talent and perseverance. Back in Savannah, he formed a band and spent three years on the road, opening for artists like Rhett Akins and performing alongside Jeff Foxworthy, while also participating in benefits for soldiers on post. These years were full of music, travel, and dedication—yet always balanced with the love and support of his beautiful wife and their young daughter.

Choosing to step away from the spotlight to focus on family was, in Johnny’s words, “the best decision I ever made—or should I say, that God made for me.” For two decades, he devoted himself to being a father and husband, trusting that the music would return when the time was right.

Today, Johnny Little is back in the music world, bringing a lifetime of experiences, faith, and heartfelt stories to every performance. Reconnected with incredible collaborators and guided by God’s hand, he is embracing this next chapter with gratitude and passion. Johnny’s music is a reflection of his journey—rooted in faith, family, and the timeless spirit of country music.
